Brandon Spraggs

About

Brandon is a graduate student at Lincoln University pursuing a Master of Education in Community/Agency Counseling. He is currently completing his practicum and internship at Rick Lancaster Counseling LLC, where he provides counseling services under professional supervision to ensure ethical practice and high-quality care.

Born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, Brandon is deeply connected to his community and passionate about supporting the individuals within it. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lincoln University in 2023 after graduating from Jefferson City High School in 2019.

Brandon’s theoretical orientation is rooted in the humanistic tradition, particularly the person-centered approach. He believes that each individual possesses the capacity for growth, healing, and self-actualization. In sessions, he serves as a compassionate, nonjudgmental facilitator—offering support, understanding, and encouragement as clients navigate challenges and work toward meaningful change.

    Internship Sessions

    Counseling sessions with graduate-level interns are offered at a reduced rate of $35 per session. Each session is 50 minutes in length. This provides an affordable option for individuals seeking quality counseling services under professional supervision.
